One story representing many others . . .
She had an active diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Type. Her symptoms were agitation, impulsive behaviors, running away often, verbal aggression, low motivation and self-esteem, engaging in unhealthy relationships, and having an inability to manage her own life.
She entered our program. After a year, she manages her symptoms, recognizes triggers, and has been able to move forward with independent life skills, such as budgeting and managing her money. She has been on interviews to obtain employment, and takes pride in herself. She continues to be a member of our program and is learning how to grow more independently. What a way she has come!~from client notes
