Think of us as a doctor’s office for mental wellness – a safe place for discussion, diagnosis, counseling, and support. Our staff is experienced and highly trained. Our community connections and resources are extensive. Most of all, our caring, compassionate approach is uniquely individualized to each patient’s situation.
We use conversation, Q&A, and testing to learn what’s going on. Our evaluations are thorough, confidential, and an essential first step on the path to mental wellness.
Every patient is different, and our Care Plans are just as unique. We’ll recommend the best mix of treatments, session frequency, and ongoing assessments.
Our solution-focused approach to mental health includes psychotherapy, workshops, evaluation for medication and referrals, and many other options.
Mental wellness is a vital part of being human. And when wellness turns to illness, it’s important to seek expert help. We treat a broad range of mental health conditions, and work toward outcomes that restore balance, confidence, and peace of mind.
Our Outpatient Services staff is committed to helping you through individual counseling that lets you explore your concerns in a confidential setting.
A persistent depressed mood can significantly affect daily life. We offer effective treatments that include talk therapy, overcoming negative attitudes and feelings, and referrals for medication.
While occasional anxiety is part of life, anxiety disorders involve worry or fear that doesn’t go away. We’ll work to find the cause and minimize the symptoms.
Abuse can be physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect. Whatever the situation, we help victims deal with the anguish and escape the pattern of abuse.
Losing a loved one or close friend can cause overwhelming sadness, anger, and guilt. Our counseling sessions explore the challenges of grief to find a path forward.
Whether it’s an immediate crisis or a growing concern, dealing with mental and behavioral issues can be difficult. That’s why we’ve made it easy to find the help you need. Specialized services are available right here in your community. And your access to them starts right here on our website.
In addition to Outpatient services, Mental Health Associates of the Triad offers two community-wide programs that treat and advocate for adults with mental illness. These proven programs are among the finest in North Carolina and make professional mental health care and guidance available to those who need specialized help.
The agency’s longest-standing program offers an all-day agenda for adults with severe mental illness who wish to be more active in their community. The program focuses on learning skills that are needed for social settings, work, and daily living.
We offer assessments of an individual’s mental illness to help eliminate or reduce the need for incarceration. We work closely with Guilford County court services and accept referrals from judges, district attorneys, and attorneys.
This agency provides excellent services. Everyone is so kind and understanding.
